#Industrial designer #Maker #CG artist

I have recently been graduated as a Master in 3D Digital Design Management student from ISD Rubika, France. Happy to work on interesting projects.

#Industrial designer

In the last 5 years of my design education, I have spent time on acquiring skills to approach various design briefs, find solutions & present it in the most effective ways, individually and with a team. I like to be versatile with my skills, I have always tried to choose projects which are very diverse from each other in order to understand different design fields like UI/UX, Interaction, Service...

#Maker

I guess its just part of being a design student but I personly love tinkering and physically making things. In the last 5 years, I have stitched books, clay modelled car, foam modelled various products, thermoformed polyurethane sheets for various projects, made wooden chair mockups and tables, silicon cast floor mats, resin fibreglass prototypes, origami, laser-cut sheet metal, 3d printed design prototypes to parts of 3d printer, tried to grow food with hydroponics,...

#CG artist

3d modelling, texturing, animating, rendering,… is the daily task as a digital designer. I always try to keep myself updated and experiment with new technologies & project pipelines. With my newfound interest in Blender I am starting to create more CGI.

My story

I was born and brought up in Davangere India. As a kid I was good with art & craft, and loved science experiments. And obviously always fascinated with cars or anything with wheels.

At 18, I moved to Pune India to start my transportation design studies. Here I entered the design world, and learnt various things from Bauhaus movement to principles of Dieter Rams to IDEO’s design thinking. Learnt to sketch, ideate, brainstorm... I also changed my stream to digital design in Year 3.

As per the college criteria, I did a 6-month internship at an automotive start-up based in Hyderabad India. Here I closely worked with engineers to develop a hybrid e-bike. Learnt a lot about the manufacturability of the concept designs.

I moved to Valenciennes France for my Year 4 & 5 of digital design management. Here I worked with a transportation and a product design team for long projects. Worked with my digital design colleagues on a long animation project. Along with these projects, the various assignments and masterclasses helped me strengthen my design skills and communication skills.
